Stephen and Rita live in Cody, Wyoming and have been married for 38 years. They are high school sweethearts and have two grown children and two precious little granddaughters. Stephen is a semi-retired pulmonologist and most recently began serving patients in a wound care center. Stephen helped start and continues as the Medical Director of the Heart Mountain Volunteer Medical Clinic in Cody. He serves as an elder at their church and is a group leader in Bible Study Fellowship. Rita recently retired as the Executive Director of a life-affirming pregnancy medical clinic, which she also helped start. She continues to serve the pregnancy organization as a member of the Board of Directors. She leads Bible studies and is a mentor for young women. They have both been on Global Health Outreach short-term mission trips to Ecuador and Haiti over the last 12 years. Stephen serves in CMDA’s House of Representatives as the Wyoming State Representative. Stephen and Rita have been on CMDA’s Marriage Enrichment Commission for five years and currently serve as the chairs of the commission.
