Dr. Alveda C. King

Dr. Alveda C. King currently serves as a Pastoral Associate and Director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries. She is also a voice for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, sharing her testimony of two abortions, God’s forgiveness and healing. The daughter of the late civil rights activist Rev. A.D. King and his wife Naomi Barber King, Alveda grew up in the civil rights movement led by her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Her family home in Birmingham, Alabama was bombed, as was her father’s church office in Louisville, Kentucky. Alveda was jailed during the open housing movement. Dr. King is a former college professor and served in the Georgia State House of Representatives.  She is a bestselling author, a member of the National Black Prolife Coalition (NBPC) and a Senior Fellow with the Howard Center for Family, Religion & Society.

Steve Sartori, MD

Steve Sartori, MD, is a board-certified family physician with more than 30 years of experience in primary care. He now uses this experience as a life coach, helping other physicians to thrive in their personal and professional lives. Dr. Sartori received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and his MD from The Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois-Rockford before accepting a position with the National Health Service Corps in Southeastern Kentucky. Dr. Sartori has served as Medical Director and CEO of a private group practice, Chief of Staff at two different hospitals, faculty member for a Family Medicine residency program and Chief Medical Officer for a Community Health Center. He has also served as a board member and treasurer of Christian Medical & Dental Associations, and he has participated in multiple short-term mission trips to Romania, Jamaica, Thailand, Kenya and Swaziland.
