Meet Our Guests on This Episode
Tyler J. VanderWeele, PhD, is the John L. Loeb and Frances Lehman Loeb Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. VanderWeele holds degrees from the University of Oxford, the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. His research interests include epidemiologic methods; perinatal, psychiatric and social epidemiology; the science of happiness and flourishing; and the relationship between religion and health. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the John Templeton Foundation, and he is the author of more than 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals. His wife Elisabeth, son Jonathan and daughter Catherine live in Cambridge, Massachusetts and attend St. Paul’s Church and the Church of the Advent.
Jamey Campbell serves as Vice President for Stewardship Development for CMDA. Jamey completed his bachelor’s degree at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in communications. In his career Jamey served in several communications positions, including on the staff of Senior Majority Leader Senator Dr. Bill Frist. He began his fundraising career at ETSU in leading the development effort for the Health Sciences Division before joining Precept Ministries International in 2000. Jamey and his wife Janeen live in Elizabethton, Tennessee, and they have two daughters and one grandson.
